Admission Policy/Required Proof of Business
All persons planning to attend SupplySide East must be registered. SupplySide East is a private trade show open to the trade only, and not open to the public. Individuals who cannot document their direct, professional affiliation to the trade are not qualified to attend the trade show. Click here for a complete list of business type definitions and pricing.
Announcements are only made for lost children. Lost and found is located at the registration desk. We encourage attendees to designate a meeting spot in case your group becomes separated.
Age Restrictions/Child Policy
No one under of the age of 18 is allowed on the show floor without direct adult supervision at all times. At no time are persons under the age of 18 allowed on the show floor during move-in and move-out – even if supervised. This is strictly enforced. Young children (infants being held or children in strollers) can be admitted without a badge. All other children, regardless of age, require a badge. If not preregistered, they must register on-site; however, they are not charged the on-site registration fee. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to attend sessions in classrooms. This can be disruptive to other attendees, the speaker(s) and the recording of the class.
Literature, Product Distribution
Company promotion, sample and literature distribution by exhibitors must be done within their contracted exhibit spaces, with the exception of designated sponsorships and marketing opportunities. Only contracted exhibitors are permitted to promote their products, services or company at the Show. Unless a marketing opportunity (i.e., sponsorship, showcase, exhibitor-presented seminar) has been contracted by the exhibitor, all company promotion and product sampling must occur within the contracted booth space. This includes, but is not limited to "roaming" characters, handing out flyers, approaching exhibitor booths to sell products, leaving and/or distributing product information in public spaces and Show floor aisles, all of which are prohibited. Exhibitors found doing so will be sent back to their booth space and materials left will be recycled. Attendees will be asked to leave the Show and forfeit their badges. Any "suitcasers" should be reported to the Show Office.
What is Suitcasing?
Suitcasing is a parasitic business practice in which unethical companies will gain access to an event by obtaining some type of event credential (attendee badge, expo-only badge, etc.) and then solicit business in the aisles or other public spaces used for the conference. If you see someone walking the aisles with an attendee badge that is trying to solicit business to other attendees (or yourself) without having an exhibit space, please report them here.
Meetings, Events & Seminars
All meetings, events and seminars must be registered with Show Management. Meetings, events and seminars not designated or organized as a part of the Show are not permitted during Show floor hours or SupplySide hosted events. Events, seminars and meetings must be registered and approved by using the Meeting Space Request Form. Exhibitors wishing to organize a seminar are encouraged to do so through the SupplySide Presentation Theater, in which they receive promotion to all Show attendees through the website, and onsite schedules and signage (deadlines apply).
All Show areas are non-smoking. Anyone who wishes to smoke may do so outside of the building. We appreciate your cooperation.
Animals are not allowed at the Show. The only exception is for service animals, which must be kept under control at all times. Please contact Customer Service with questions.
Photography and/or filming of any display or product other than the exhibitor’s own is prohibited unless permission has been obtained from SupplySide East Show Management and the firm whose booth is being photographed/ filmed. The exemption to this is the SupplySide East official photographer. Any imagery collected by this photographer (who will be properly badged and identified) will be used for the sole purpose of SupplySide East promotion.
Rolling Carts, Bags & Strollers
For safety reasons, rolling carts, rolling bags, strollers and bags with wheels are not permitted on the show floor during show hours, except where such carts or bags are a medical necessity, or, when strollers are carrying an infant. Exhibitors may roll in small briefcases and small backpacks each day from 7:00 am -10:00 am prior to the Show floor opening. All bags and exhibitor freight are subject to security search.
Drone and Wheeled Transport Devices
The use of drones, UAV’s, hoverboards, wheeled transport devices and similar devices are strictly prohibited on the Show floor, as well as all outside areas of the hotel (except for mobility devices required by persons with disabilities). The Show has undertaken reasonable efforts to ensure that the Show will be a safe environment for all attendees, and the prohibition on drones, UAV’s, hoverboards and similar devices is consistent with standards and practices for general safety.
Badge Reprint Fee
In the event that you lose or forget your badge, there will be a reprint fee of $25 for a replacement badge.
Identification Policy/ Right to Verify Identity
Identification is required at all times while attending the Show. It will be required for entry to the Show at all times. Show Management reserves the right to verify the identity of any persons accepting and/or using a Show badge. Any person found using another person's badge will have the badge confiscated and will be asked to leave the premises or correctly register.
Badge Name Changes
No name changes on badges will be accepted after a badge has been printed.
