Show policies

It is our goal to ensure the health and safety of all attendees and exhibitors at the show. We appreciate the cooperation of all who attend or otherwise participate in the event ("you") in adhering to the show policies below.

Admission policy/required proof of business

All persons planning to attend SupplySide East must be registered. SupplySide East is a private trade show open to the trade only, and not open to the public. Individuals who cannot document their direct, professional affiliation to the trade are not qualified to attend the trade show. Click here for a complete list of business type definitions and pricing.

Announcements

Announcements are only made for lost children. Lost and Found is located at the Information Desk inside of the Meadowlands Lobby. We encourage attendees to designate a meeting spot in case your group becomes separated.

Age restrictions/child policy

No one under of the age of 18 is allowed on the show floor without direct adult supervision at all times. At no time are people under the age of 18 allowed on the show floor during move-in and move-out — even if supervised. This is strictly enforced. Young children (infants being held or children in strollers) can be admitted without a badge. All other children, regardless of age, require a badge. If not preregistered, they must register onsite; however, they are not charged the onsite registration fee. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to attend sessions in classrooms. This can be disruptive to other attendees, the speaker(s) and the recording of the class.

Anti-harassment code of conduct

At Informa Markets, our goal is to connect buyers and sellers and support the flow of business and trade. Our platforms help businesses meet, discover products, trade and grow through major exhibitions, virtual events, online marketplaces, specialist content and data services.

This can only be achieved if we create and maintain an environment where ALL people are treated with dignity, decency and respect. As such, we expect every “participant” in any Informa event (in person or virtual) in any manner whatsoever, including, but not limited to, all exhibitors, attendees, speakers, guests, professionals, media, staff members, workers, contractors, vendors, security or anyone else who participates in any way, to behave appropriately in accordance with our anti-discrimination and anti-harassment code of conduct.

Each participant is solely responsible for their own conduct while participating in the event or any part of the event. Learn more here.

Literature, product distribution

Company promotion, sample and literature distribution by exhibitors must be done within their contracted exhibit spaces, with the exception of designated sponsorships and marketing opportunities. Only contracted exhibitors are permitted to promote their products, services or company at the show. Unless a marketing opportunity (e.g., sponsorship, showcase, exhibitor-presented seminar) has been contracted by the exhibitor, all company promotion and product sampling must occur within the contracted booth space. This includes, but is not limited to "roaming" characters, handing out flyers, approaching exhibitor booths to sell products, leaving and/or distributing product information in public spaces and show floor aisles, all of which are prohibited. Exhibitors found doing so will be sent back to their booth space and materials left will be recycled. Attendees will be asked to leave the show and forfeit their badges. Any "suitcasers" should be reported to the Show Office.

What is suitcasing?

Suitcasing is a parasitic business practice in which unethical companies will gain access to an event by obtaining some type of event credential (attendee badge, expo-only badge, etc.) and then solicit business in the aisles or other public spaces used for the conference. If you see someone walking the aisles with an attendee badge that is trying to solicit business to other attendees (or yourself) without having an exhibit space, please contact customer service.

No smoking

All show areas are nonsmoking. Anyone who wishes to smoke may do so outside of the building. We appreciate your cooperation.

No animals

Animals are not allowed at the show. The only exception is for service animals, which must be kept under control at all times. Please contact customer service with questions.

Photography/videography policy

Photography and/or filming of any display or product other than the exhibitor’s own is prohibited unless permission has been obtained from SupplySide East show management and the firm whose booth is being photographed/filmed. The exemption to this is the SupplySide East official photographer. Any imagery collected by this photographer (who will be properly badged and identified) will be used for the sole purpose of SupplySide East promotion.

Rolling carts, bags and strollers

For safety reasons, rolling carts, rolling bags, strollers and bags with wheels are not permitted on the show floor during show hours, except where such carts or bags are a medical necessity, or, when strollers are carrying an infant. Exhibitors may roll in small briefcases and small backpacks each day from 7am-10am prior to the show floor opening. All bags and exhibitor freight are subject to security search.

Drone and wheeled transport devices

The use of drones, UAVs, hoverboards, wheeled transport devices and similar devices is strictly prohibited on the show floor, as well as all outside areas of the hotel (except for mobility devices required by persons with disabilities). The show has undertaken reasonable efforts to ensure that the show will be a safe environment for all attendees, and the prohibition on drones, UAVs, hoverboards and similar devices is consistent with standards and practices for general safety.

Identification policy/right to verify identity

Identification is required at all times while attending the show. It will be required for entry to the show at all times. Show management reserves the right to verify the identity of any persons accepting and/or using a show badge. Any person found using another person's badge will have the badge confiscated and will be asked to leave the premises or correctly register.

Email policy

Show management requires a unique email address be provided for all registrations to attend our in-person events. The unique email address is required to manage our directory of all attendees. It is also used by exhibitors and attendees to effectively provide follow-up post event with people who scanned your badge, and provide the attendees a list of exhibitors that they visited onsite. By registering and providing your contact information, you acknowledge and agree to the use by Informa of your contact information to communicate with you about events, products, services and offerings by Informa, its brands, affiliates and/or third-party partners, consistent with Informa's privacy policy (accessible at informa.com/privacy-policy). In addition, you understand that your personal information may be shared with any sponsors of the show, so they can contact you directly about their products or services. Please refer to the privacy policies of such sponsors for more details on how your information may be used by them. Your personal information may also be shared with other participants in the show.

Refund/cancellation policy

To ensure your early commitment is hassle-free, all attendees taking advantage of early bird registration will receive a 100% refund if for any reason you need to cancel, no questions asked. All cancellation requests should be submitted in writing to [email protected]. 100% refunds are applicable for those who register on or before Feb. 2, 2024. Registrations after February 2 will incur a $35 administration fee. No refunds will be issued after April 10, 2024.
