SupplySide East Postponed to June 23 & 24, 2020.  Will Remain at Meadowlands Expo Center

PHOENIX (March 9, 2020) – As a result of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) public health emergency, SupplySide East has
been postponed to June 23 & 24, 2020. The event will still take place at Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, NJ.

“With the uncertainty caused by the evolving coronavirus situation, this postponement is the best course of action for our industry, exhibitors and attendees,” said Jon Benninger, Vice President and Market Leader for SupplySide. “This is an unprecedented time for our industry, and our focus will continue to be on what is best for our industry partners.”

The intent of today’s announcement is to get this Our primary concern is and will always be the safety of our guests and colleagues. We are monitoring the situation and following the guidelines set-forth by our federal and local government and health agencies and are in close on-going contact with local authorities. information about the new dates to the market immediately, and additional details will be forthcoming. The new dates will provide exhibitors more time before incurring shipping and other costs, and all participants will face less pressure to make travel commitments now, when the situation is still so fluid.

Benninger said that the SupplySide team will continue to monitor the situation and work with industry to navigate this challenging time. In addition, SupplySide will use its content and editorial resources to inform and guide the market as the coronavirus situation impacts supply chains and normal business operations.

“We take our role in this industry very seriously and will strive to help our industry understand the business impacts of this situation and the best ways to mitigate them,” he said. “This is new territory for all of us.”

SupplySide East Postponement FAQ's

SupplySide East is now scheduled to take place between June 23 & 24, 2020. The venue is unchanged; the show will still be located at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ.

Your registration will be automatically transferred to the June event.  Our team will reach out if anything changes in regard to pre-selected education offerings (GMP Training, CBD Course).

If you booked your hotel through the official hotel partner of SupplySide East, OnPeak, you will be contacted by the end of March.  We are actively working with our hotel partners and OnPeak to determine next steps.  Thank you for your patience.

Our content team is working with proposed speakers to confirm the agenda for the June dates. We will share any changes with you as soon as we are able to.

SupplySide East will not reimburse ancillary expenses. We are working with vendors to minimize the impact on our exhibitors, but any refund requests should be addressed directly with the provider.

We are and will continue to closely monitor developments of Novel Coronavirus, as your health, safety and wellbeing are our utmost priority.

The SupplySide Health & Safety team closely monitors procedures and facility compliance. Increased hand sanitizing stations will be made available throughout the Meadowlands Exposition Center and in the Education area at the Holiday Inn hotel. Respirator masks will be available onsite upon request.  Additionally, attendees are encouraged to take precaution before traveling if they are feeling sick or are coughing or sneezing. The Meadowlands Exposition Center has also implemented increased frequency of cleaning throughout the day with industry approved surface disinfectants.
